Sunshine, Smiles, and Little Explorers: A Picnic Day at Our Preschool in Evergreen, San Jose
There’s something special about watching a group of preschoolers discover the simple joy of a sunny afternoon outdoors – bare feet on grass, giggles chasing giggles, and snacks that somehow taste better when eaten on a picnic blanket. That’s exactly what happened on July 31st 2026, when the Bright Sunrise Preschool family gathered right on our own school lawn in Evergreen, San Jose, for a community picnic. Chairs came straight out of the classrooms and onto the grass, colorful picnic blankets were spread out under the shade of a big tree, and the smell of fresh pizza filled the air as families settled in for an afternoon together.
A Morning Full of Little Moments
This wasn’t just a preschool event — it was a true family affair. Parents and grandparents pulled up chairs beside their little ones, siblings tagged along to join the fun, and everyone gathered under the trees to escape the San Jose sun.

Between bites, children sat together to share snacks, compare who had the biggest slice, and simply enjoy the fresh air. It was a beautiful reminder that some of the richest learning happens far from a whiteboard or a worksheet.
